The Movie Room

Theme

Andy’s Griffith’s first movie “A Face in the Crowd” was filmed in Piggott. The movie included stars such as Patricia Neal and Lee Remick. Patricia Neal stayed in this room when she returned to Piggott for the 50 year celebration of the filming of the movie. Also, A Farewell to Arms celebrated its world premiere at the Franklin Theater on the west side of the court square in Piggott in 1932, starring Gary Cooper and Helen Hayes. The “Movie Room” at The Inn at Piggott is themed in remembrance of these events.
